Why Ampersand?

I learned to love the ampersand from my dear friend Sarah De Haaff. In an essay written shortly before her death from metastatic breast cancer, Sarah wrote, “The ampersand represents the possibility of everything - of inclusion, of simultaneous experiences & emotions . . .to hold both hope & realism, at the exact same time.”

My work and life are filled with ampersands and the ability to hold two seemingly opposite things at the same time. As a consultant, I can geek out on your budget with you as easily as I can help you reimagine a meaningful staff retreat. As Sarah wisely taught me - the ampersand represents the possibility of everything.
